EXPRESS
The fastest and most expensive way to ship goods, in exchange for a premium price, your goods are guaranteed to make it to their destination on time. With our express air freight service, also known as “next flight out" (NFO), your time-critical freight will be picked up at any time and will be transported on the next available scheduled flight. To support this, Chaucer is constantly appraised of aircraft availability for expedited cargo, negotiating priority space at the best possible rates for our clients by utilising our extensive network of global airline partners.
DEFERRED
Deferred Air Freight refers to a type of air shipping service where the delivery of goods is not time-sensitive and can be postponed to a later date. This service is usually offered at a lower cost compared to standard or express air freight services as it allows airlines to optimize their cargo capacity and reduce their operating costs. In Deferred Air Freight, the shipment may take longer to arrive at its destination as it is consolidated by the airline, (not us), and may take longer to be processed at departure and arrival airports. The exact delivery time may vary depending on various factors such as the distance between the origin and destination, the airline’s schedule, and any customs or regulatory requirements.
STANDARD
This is the most common service, in which the shipment may make several stops at different airports and transfer into different aircraft before reaching its final destination. The most cost-effective option when you have a little more time to spare and when you require the speed and dependability of airfreight but are not concerned with the transit time to your destination. Chaucer provides this as part of our air consolidation service to provide you a highly reliable and cost-effective solution.
CHARTER
If you need to move a large number of goods urgently, then you can charter a plane so you are in control of the flight departure and arrival times without the complication of other parties being involved. Every shipment is unique and your dedicated Account Manager will work with you to ensure that your charter flight is a success.
